libxml2 problem

I had a problem uninstalling previous version of libxml2.
I think the newer version of libxml2 works on my server, but i figured out that it didn't linked with the php installed previously on my server.
Maybe i should uninstall the previous version of libxml2 first, but i don't know how?
Anybody could you help me...

A couple weeks ago, i am trying to limited my web server access to run in chrooted jail environment. But it doesn't work :(
i've already moved all the library which is needed by the web server, i've runned the web server, it seemed ok but after i checked, the web server didn't run at all.
what's wrong..........:(

So i've reverted back the web server to run in a global environment....
